Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones

A graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, Andy jumped into the general contracting world by joining Bovis Lend Lease for the first 5 years of his career. After his time at Bovis, he went to work for the next decade at Windover Construction. He has worked in the higher education, high end residential, country club, hospital and life science sectors as a project manager. In his personal time, Andy is an avid golfer and volleyball player. He resides in Newmarket, NH with his wife and many pets.

Ken Sciarappa

Ken Sciarappa

Ken Sciarappa has been in the construction industry for the past 25 years, holding a variety of roles and responsibilities throughout his time in the Carpenter’s Union. He understands the ins and outs of installations and scheduling demands from his experience in the field, previously holding titles such as Lead Foreman and Road Supervisor. Ken has had the role of estimator and project management in the past and has owned his own ceiling company. In dealing firsthand with client and subcontractor demands on a regular basis, he has developed impressive interpersonal and communication skills. Ken joined Allan Construction’s estimating and project management team where he has quickly become a valued, diverse asset to the entire Allan team. Ken is an avid sailor who lives and sails out of Marblehead, MA. He loves exploring the outdoors with his family and dogs.

Harry McNaught

Harry McNaught

Harry manages and oversees field operations for all of Allan Construction’s projects. With over 35 years of construction experience, he began his career as a Union Carpenter, working as an installer with a variety of organizations in Boston, MA before eventually transitioning into the role of Field Supervisor. Harry has been part of the Allan Construction team for over 10 years, building and maintaining relationships with carpenters, project managers, and general carpenters alike, to ensure the smooth execution of projects large and small.

Ken Palmer

Ken Palmer

Ken brings over 35 years of experience in the building trades and procurement of building materials and commodity products to Allan Construction. His strong knowledge of purchasing Specialty and Standard Ceiling Tile products is an asset to Allan. He has worked in all facets of the building material supply market such as sales, warehouse distribution as well as multi location purchasing, special order purchasing and inventory control management. His vast experience over the years in these rolls has proved to be beneficial today in his role as Assistant Purchasing Manager. Outside of work Ken enjoys Outdoor adventuring with his family and friends Hiking, Snowmobiling, Boating and 4wheeling.

Patricia Thompson

Patricia Thompson

Patricia has been an Assistant Project Manager with Allan Construction since 2019. Prior to her current role, Patricia spent three years as Document Coordinator at affiliate company Marquis Management, where she worked directly with project managers/estimators in a variety of divisions to ensure organization and execution on project bids. Patricia’s experience prepared her to become an integral part of Allan Construction’s operational success.

Rick Walkey

Rick Walkey

Rick brings over 35 years of construction industry experience to the Allan Construction team. After earning a degree in Building Construction Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, he began his career working for a home builder before eventually transitioning into the General Contracting realm. There Rick worked as a project manager, estimator, and occasional superintendent before bringing his experience and talents to Allan Construction in 2017. Rick is both an estimator and a project manager for Allan Construction, managing large scale projects in a variety of sectors including lab and research spaces, tenant fit outs, and college/university work.

Garrett Allan

Garrett Allan

Garrett grew up in the ceiling business, following the evolution of Allan Construction from its early beginnings in his parents’ garage to what it is today. After joining the Carpenter’s Union Local #26, Garrett worked in the field while simultaneously training as an estimator for five years. He then transitioned into the office full time and took on the role of Project Manager/Estimator after gaining considerable knowledge of the ins and outs of jobsites and site management. Garrett has since managed a number of Allan’s largest projects to date including Harvard Smith Campus, MIT Site 4, and the new Akamai corporate headquarters located in Boston, MA. Garrett has recently been promoted to Senior Project Manager and is eager to continue broadening his knowledge of the industry while helping Allan Construction expand and grow.

Allen Marquis

Allen Marquis

Allen began his career in construction as a union carpenter nearly 36 years ago. His experience and talent in the field led him to the roles of Assistant Superintendent, Project Superintendent, Owners Field Coordinator, and eventually Vice President of Operations at Allan Construction. Each position that Allen has held has brought him new and profound insight into the building process as well as the operational components and challenges presented by the industry. In his current role, Allen is responsible for the overall daily operations and strategy implementation as Allan Construction continues to grow and evolve. Striving to improve operational efficiency through a culture of accountability and collaboration, Allen has proven that the strength and success of an organization comes directly from the people at the heart of the operation. Allen takes great pride in the team that Allan Construction has assembled as well as their ability to bring unparalleled service and value to all of their clients.

Mark Allan

Mark Allan

Mark began his career as a union carpenter, working for a number of acoustical contractors in the Boston area before establishing Allan Construction in 1988. With over 40 years of experience in the acoustical contracting industry, Mark brings unparalleled knowledge and expertise to each project that he is a part of. Mark loves the ability to work directly with architects and general contractors in order to construct and value engineer any acoustical system or design that could be imagined. Along with his team, Mark looks forward to the future and growth of Allan Construction as he explores new and emerging trends in the industry.
